midsummer aura portraits

on the summer equinox, my friends matt and lindsey host a midsummer gathering at their farmland - camping, great food, crafts, art, and dancing abound.

for the last 4 years, i painted portraits of friends with my (non-dominant) left hand, capturing their aura, their essence. laid out next to each other, the evolution of visual style is apparent year to year.
